Complex magazine has reached pretty far for the cover of their Feb/Mar Cover. The photo above is of their cover and the photo below is of 2 of the best, if not thee best, Abstract expressionist painters of our time, Andy Warhol and Jean Michel Basquiat. Both of the artists on the original photo, below, died early deaths which cut their careers short and ultimately sent the prices of their artworks through the roof and past the moon. With this cover Complex magazine is comparing Scott and Rocky to these two greats. Don't get me wrong, I am not trashing neither Scott nor Rocky, but I think this is a little besides itself.

It was reported by the New York Daily News that Young Money Cash Money's newest signee Cory Gunz was arrested on Sunday evening for gun possession. He was released on Monday morning after his father, old school hip hop artist, Peter Guns posted a reported $30,000 bail to get his son out of jail.

The Paxtons' Avenue B: Fly or Flop?
On Tuesday, January 24th Chris and Dave, The Chicagoan duo known as The Paxtons dropped their newest album Avenue B for FREE. Their South Shore Social Club (SSSC) also hosted a free concert and drink fest sponsored by the Brooklyn Brewery at downtown Brooklyn's newest low key hot spot, Free Candy. The event was put together by Coretta Ryan of CRPR and it was full of fly people (See the photos courtesy of Flight Crew Photography after the break).
